About Duvet Flip
At Duvet Flip, we’re on a mission to help millions of people make the flip — flipping their mindsets, energy, and lives. Through our four pillars — Productions, Platforms, Programmes, and Products — we’re creating content that doesn’t just entertain but inspires real change.
And at the heart of it all? Our flagship show, My Duvet Flip.
The Role: Video Editor
We’re looking for a creative, quick-thinking, and detail-driven Video Editor to join our Productions team. You’ll be responsible for editing full-length episodes and trailers of My Duvet Flip, plus creating energetic micro-content for social platforms.
You’ll help tell stories that move people — making sure every cut, frame, sound, and color hits perfectly.
What You’ll Be Doing

Full-Length Episode Editing: Take full ownership of editing episodes from raw footage through to polished final cuts.
Trailer Creation: Craft high-energy, cinematic trailers that hook audiences and build excitement for new releases.
Micro-Content Editing: Edit and reformat clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn — creating social-first assets that grab attention.
Dynamic Social Edits: Use text animations, transitions, cut-outs, zooms, and other creative movements to make social trailers lively, fast-paced, and addictive to watch.
Color Grading & Correction: Perform high-quality color grading and correction inside DaVinci Resolve to make each episode visually cohesive and cinematic.
Audio Adjustment & Repair: Clean up and polish audio — adjusting levels, removing background noise, and ensuring every clip sounds broadcast-ready.
Post-Production Workflow: Manage project files, version control, exports, and handovers in an organized and professional way.

Who You Are

DaVinci Resolve Expert: Confident in editing, color correction, color grading, multicam editing, and basic sound mixing inside Resolve.
Audio-Savvy: Able to clean up audio issues (background noise, levels balancing) and ensure dialogue clarity and crispness.
Motion-Smart Editor: Skilled in using text animations, fast cuts, transitions, and visual movement to energize edits — especially for social.
Story-Led Thinker: Understands pacing, tension, emotional beats, and how to make a conversation or moment truly land.
Organised & Detail-Oriented: Keeps timelines tidy, workflows smooth, and never lets deadlines slip.
Creative and Coachable: Open to feedback, excited to iterate, and always looking for ways to improve your craft.
