ACUMEN MEDIA is an international award-winning film production company that specialises in creating broadcast standard content for distribution on some of the world’s biggest and most well-known news agencies. We produce business content in a documentary or “newsroom” format, centred on leading industry narratives, that allow businesses and their executives to share their industry insights, company strategies, technologies, and thought leadership. What You’ll Do:
As a Business Development Manager at Acumen Media, you will be assigned to one of our teams working on a themed campaign, which will be launching on a prestigious news platform. BDMs will need to demonstrate sales acumen and a creative flair as you will be discussing the creation of broadcast standard films with C-level executives, marketing and communications heads, within medium to large companies round the world. Your role will include securing clients for our campaigns across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, North America, and Western Europe.
Successful candidates will need to have strong communication skills, the ability to present and negotiate at C-level, and a determined, ambitious, and winning attitude.
Full training will be provided, with ongoing management support.
Key Responsibilities:

Attitude: Being organised, efficient, and self-motivated. Dedication to become one of the industry’s best performers.
Lead generation and research: Identify and research prospects. Angle/story development which will be used as part of your presentation.
Outreach: Pipeline development through cold outreach via email, social media, and cold calling.
Working across the world: Working through international time zones (Europe / Asia / North America)
Presenting: Conductingpresentations via phone, conference calls, and video calls, to C-level executives within medium to large companies
Creating Proposals: Developing written communication with professional written language.
Close High-Value Deals: Leverage your negotiation skills to agree media deals and negotiate contracts.
