Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a charismatic individual to join our creative Marketing team, the copywriter will write and edit content for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the Marketing Manager to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging.
About the Role
This is a part-time or full-time position based in our head office in South Woodham Ferrers. We offer a great package including a competitive salary (dependent on experience), private healthcare and pension scheme.
Main Duties Include

Develop clear, persuasive, and original copy for a variety of marketing channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create content strategies that align with overall business objectives.
Conduct thorough research to understand target audiences and market trends, ensuring content is relevant and impactful.
Optimise content for search engines (SEO) to enhance visibility and drive traffic.
Utilise content management systems to publish and manage online content effectively.
Assist in the development of content marketing initiatives that promote brand awareness and engagement.
Engage with social media platforms to create shareable content that resonates with our audience.
Writing video scripts if required
PR bulleting and liaising with relevant magazines and online newsletters for PR exposure
Responding to emailed enquires in a professional manor
Responding to online comments – Trustpilot, Houzz, Social Media etc

General Responsibilities

Assisting with the production of marketing media as necessary – including internal and external comms
Writing blog articles to post on our website
Admin of case studies – recording on system
Preparing written materials for meetings, as required

Skills you should have:

Proven experience in copywriting with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse writing styles.
Proficiency in SEO content techniques and best practices for optimising web content.
Familiarity with content management systems for effective publishing and management of digital content.
Excellent research skills to inform writing decisions and ensure accuracy.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Organised and proactive
Responsible, dependable & conscientious
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
