OverviewWe are seeking a creative and experienced Brand Marketing and Social Media Manager to join our José Pizarro family.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving revenue goals by developing and executing sales and marketing plans, to generate and maximise social media exposure for José Pizarro and his restaurants on a local, regional, national and international level. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, as well as strong public relations skills to effectively engage with our audience.

To accomplish business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans.
To ensure optimum management of all social media for José Pizarro and all major group events and initiatives.
To support effective communication across the business
To support the business through specific sales and social media projects
Job requirements
Experience in a similar role within marketing required.
Strong hospitality background/restaurant setting within a similar role required.
Strong leadership and managerial skills.
Be able to work independently, on your own and proactively.
Applicant must be eligible to work full time in the UK.
Be able to maintain a high customer awareness by approaching your job with the customers always in mind.
Be adaptable, outgoing, exuberant responding quickly and positively to changing requirements, which may mean getting involved in procedures that are not normally part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
Be able to maintain high level of teamwork and posses good attention to details skills.
To have a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with both customers and colleagues.
This roles will require you to work some evenings and weekends, depending on the company needs.
Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
Prepare and implement Group marketing budget and plan.
Manage and update of media database in co-operation with the PR agency
Plan and handle restaurant individual customer emailing.
Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review, in conjunction with Group operations teams. Submit request for reviews to be removed/disputed, as necessary.
Reporting on activities towards targets to the company directors.
Researching potential target industries and customers.
Social Media
Responsible for developing innovative, effective and on-going social media plan across all channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, blogs, Company’s website etc.) which fall under the Brand strategy. Continue to update/evolve plan and related activity based on emerging trends and opportunities.
Manage day-to-day social media activities across brand.
Keep up to date with current affairs and tweet accordingly.
Support and engage with José Pizarro friends and fans, bloggers and other key audiences to foster conversations and relationships.
Use social media to identify trends, problems and areas of opportunity to positively impact the guests’ experience.
Website
Maintaining and updating information on the Company’s website on regular basis. Use supporting structure when required.
Keeping all content, newsletters, recipes and vacancies updated
To ensure the photography is current
Photography
All new dishes to be photographed for social media
All site photos to be kept up to date
Arrange a quarterly professional photographer to get images of all sites if required.
Newsletters
To send out a monthly newsletter with agreed material
Manage the click rate to maximise database – look at increasing database from 12,000 to 15,000 over the next quarter
Sign up cards in the restaurants, promotions
Keep the content exciting, fresh, relevant and in line with Company brand
Branding
To keep all José branding consistent with each site’s specifics
To ensure menus and collateral are always on brand.
To review and assist with any ad-hoc tasks
Menus and Graphics
To keep menus updated, print weekly menus for the restaurants
Keep all company graphics in a single file
Employee Relations & Communications
Share information within the group to maintain staff awareness of the Group’s initiatives and involvement in the community.
Attend restaurants meetings as required.
Assist with other departments, as necessary.
