Bigmoto is the UK’s fastest growing motorcycle retailer and we now require a social media marketing specialist. This is an exciting role, with full creative control to take the current barely existent social media channels for all brands that sit under the group, revolutionise them, to represent the brand that we are and create a motorcycle community.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations and social media management, as well as the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target demographic.
Duties
Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with the company’s voice and objectives.
Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities, responding appropriately to foster community interaction.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing initiatives and promotions.
Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media management.
Assist in managing public relations efforts by crafting press releases and engaging with media outlets when necessary.
Qualifications
Proven experience in public relations or social media management is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
Proficiency in using social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track performance metrics.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content creation.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
