THE ROLE
We are looking for a passionate, technically sharp Sound Engineer & Music Producer to join our small, friendly team in London.You will craft pristine mixes and masters for clients, create audio for our video content, and dive into a playground of synths, pro-audio gear and plugins.A one-month, hands-on induction will walk you through the refined workflows and best practices we have developed over two decades.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Mix, master, and remix client projects across multiple genres
Edit and mix audio for Doctor Mix YouTube and B2B video content
Communicate with artists, labels, and internal creators, translating feedback into polished results
Maintain and troubleshoot Windows-based DAW PCs and studio hardware
Keep the control room and equipment racks tidy, labelled, and ready for use

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

Professional Mixing: 5+ years delivering release-ready mixes (gain staging, EQ, compression, vocal editing and tuning)
DAW Proficiency: Strong command of any professional DAW and readiness to work in Cubase (training provided if coming from Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, etc.)
Hardware & Plugins: Comfortable with synthesizers, MIDI, drum machines, valves/tape, and modern VST instruments and effects
Communication: Excellent written and spoken English; professional client manner
Team Fit: Collaborative, organised, punctual, detail-driven, and easy-going

BONUS SKILLS

Keyboard/instrument skills, music theory knowledge, beat-making, and arranging ability
Passion for synthesizers, audio gear, and plugin experimentation
Confidence posting on web platforms, uploading assets, and scheduling content on social media

SALARY, HOURS & BENEFITS

From £26,000 per year (depending on experience) + regular performance reviews
Workdays: Monday–Friday, 09:30–18:30, with a 1-hour lunch break
Casual dress code, statutory holiday and sick pay
